Shower Heads

Round and Square Shower Heads for Overhead Sprays

A wide rain head and a small directional spray produce different shower experiences, even when connected to similar pipework. Paradise Kitchens sells shower heads from Flexispray and other brands in round and square formats, including selected overhead rain designs around 200 mm and 300 mm, in chrome, matte black and brushed finishes. Shop online by the spray pattern, water-efficiency rating and required arm connection. A larger face does not remove the need for suitable supply pressure.

Choose a compatible shower arm for the mounting position. If a movable spray is more useful, consider hand showers.

Rain-style heads: Broad round or square faces spread the spray across a wider area where the model supports it.
Compact fixed outlets: Smaller heads can provide more focused coverage in suitably positioned showers.
Face size: Around 200 mm and 300 mm formats appear across selected designs, with different clearances.
Finish options: Chrome, matte black and brushed metal colours are available on particular shower-head ranges.
Water-rating checks: Compare the actual WELS registration and stated flow rate for the precise head.
Arm compatibility: Connection size and head weight must suit the chosen wall or ceiling arm.

Dorf Epic includes an upswept wall-mounted shower head, while Methven Kiri has Satinjet shower styles. The difference is not just the appearance: consider where the spray will fall and how the head mounts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers about our design, manufacturing, installation, showroom and quoting process. Learn how Paradise Kitchens can help make your Sydney renovation simpler from start to finish.

Is a 300 mm rain shower head better than a 200 mm head?

Not necessarily. It covers a larger area, but spray pattern, flow rate, pressure and the size of your enclosure matter. Paradise Kitchens lists different shapes and sizes, so compare the rated specifications.

Can I replace only the shower head?

Often, if the existing arm connection and supported head weight are compatible. Check the old fitting and any sealing requirements before unscrewing components.

Do shower heads have WELS ratings?

Applicable showerheads are subject to Australian water-efficiency labelling requirements. Check the exact registered model and flow rate rather than judging efficiency from the size of the face.

What is the difference between a rainfall head and a hand shower?

A rainfall head usually remains in a fixed position; a hand shower can be directed by hand or mounted on a slider.

Can a square shower head be used on a ceiling arm?

Yes, if its connection and permitted weight suit the shower arm. Paradise Kitchens lists different arm arrangements, so check orientation before ordering.

How do I remove mineral deposits from shower nozzles?

Follow the maker's cleaning directions. Some heads have flexible nozzles that can be wiped, while plated surfaces may require mild cleaners rather than acidic products.
