Better Bedroom Storage
A wardrobe can take up an entire wall and still leave shirts squeezed together, shoes across the floor and folded clothes buried at the back.
We plan the inside around what you actually own, so more fits comfortably and the bedroom still feels calm, open and easy to live in.
Separate shorter hanging from full-length space, so shirts, jackets, dresses and coats sit properly instead of competing for one packed rail.
Use soft-close drawers for folded pieces, accessories and smaller items, giving you a clear place for the things that usually end up mixed together.
Dedicated shelving keeps shoes visible, paired and off the wardrobe floor, instead of disappearing underneath hanging clothes.
Take cabinetry higher, wider and around alcoves or bulkheads, turning the parts a standard wardrobe would miss into useful storage.
Choose Your Wardrobe
A long bedroom wall, a separate dressing nook and an awkward alcove call for very different wardrobes.
We start with the room first, then shape the cabinetry, doors and internal storage around it.
Create a clean wall of fitted cabinetry with hanging, shelves and drawers exactly where you need them. Choose sliding or hinged doors to suit the space in front of the robe.
Explore Built-In Wardrobes
Turn a separate nook or adjoining space into somewhere you can see clothes, shoes, bags and accessories at a glance, with room to get ready comfortably.
Explore Walk-In Wardrobes
When standard sizes leave awkward gaps or the brief is more individual, start from scratch. Cabinetry, doors and storage are developed around the actual room rather than a template.

Find the Right Fit
Before choosing a finish, look at the wall length, space around the bed, door clearance and how many people will use the robe.
Those practical details usually make the right wardrobe much easier to choose.
Bring a photo or measurements of the room and we can help you narrow down what will work before you start choosing finishes.
What Shapes the Price
Size sets the starting point. What happens inside and across the front of the wardrobe determines how far the design goes.
Extra drawers, detailed doors, mirrors, lighting and higher-spec finishes add to the cost, but they're also the details you see, touch and use every day.
A wider or taller robe requires more panels, shelving, doors and internal cabinetry.
Simple hinged fronts, sliding systems, mirrors and more detailed profiles carry different hardware and manufacturing requirements.
Drawers, divided hanging, shoe shelves and dedicated compartments create a more tailored interior than basic rails and shelves.
Matt, gloss, woodgrain and other finishes change both the appearance and specification of the wardrobe.
Mirrors, lighting, dressing areas and specialised storage can be introduced where they genuinely improve the finished robe.
Inside and Out
Closed, your wardrobe shapes the room. Open, it should make getting dressed easier. That’s why we plan the doors, storage and finishes together.
Keep smaller items and folded clothes organised, visible and accessible.
Keep every pair visible, organised and off the wardrobe floor.
Choose short, double or full-length hanging to suit your clothes.

Difficult Spaces
A bulkhead above the robe. A narrow section beside an ensuite. An alcove that is too shallow for standard furniture. A bed sitting close to the wardrobe doors.
These are exactly the spaces where made-to-measure cabinetry can earn its place.
Use sliding doors to keep the walkway clear without giving up the storage behind them.
A compact recess can become a fitted robe or small walk-in when shelves, hanging and access are planned carefully.
Shape cabinetry around the room rather than stopping short and leaving difficult gaps that collect dust.
Take storage upwards and use mirrored fronts selectively, giving you more wardrobe space without adding another piece of furniture to the room.
From Measure to Install
A custom wardrobe involves more than choosing a door and waiting for installation.
We work through the room, internal layout and finishes first, so the important decisions are made before cabinetry goes into production.
Bring measurements, photos and any ideas you've saved, or visit the showroom and talk through what isn't working in your current wardrobe.
We plan hanging, drawers, shelves, doors and finishes around your room and the way you want to use the robe.
Our in-house designers can prepare 2D and 3D designs so you can understand the layout before manufacturing. Quotes are usually available within 24 to 48 hours once the requirements are clear.
Once the design is finalised, the wardrobe moves into production and then installation, with the project managed through to completion.
Why Paradise Kitchens
A made-to-measure wardrobe should do more than fill the gap between two walls.
The cabinetry should finish neatly into the room. Doors should sit in proportion with the wall. The inside should reflect what you actually own. And the finished result should feel as carefully resolved as the rest of the bedroom.
Your room sets the measurements. The cabinetry is then developed around the available wall, height and storage required.
In-house designers work through the wardrobe layout and can prepare 2D and 3D designs before production begins.
Measurement, design, manufacture and installation can stay within one project rather than being passed between unrelated suppliers.
Wardrobes can be planned alongside kitchens, laundries, bathrooms and other custom cabinetry, making it easier to carry finishes and joinery details through more of the home.

Wardrobe
A few practical details to know before measurements, materials and installation are locked in.
It depends on the size, wardrobe type, internal fit-out and finish. Drawers, mirrors, detailed doors, lighting and specialised storage can all change the final price, so Paradise quotes each wardrobe around the actual room and specification.
From finalising the design to installation, a custom wardrobe will usually take around two to four weeks. Material availability and the complexity of the design can affect timing, so your project timeframe is confirmed once the requirements are clear.
Yes. An existing built-in can be removed and replaced with a completely new custom design. This gives you the chance to rethink the internal storage as well as changing the doors, finishes and overall appearance.
In most cases, installing the wardrobe before the carpet can create a cleaner finish and avoid cutting flooring around finished cabinetry. If the wider renovation requires a different sequence, the installation can be planned around it.
Bring any measurements you already have, a few clear photos of the room and examples of finishes or wardrobes you like. It also helps to think about what frustrates you about your current storage and what you need more room for.
Yes. Paradise designs and installs custom wardrobes across Sydney, with built-in, walk-in and custom options available for different rooms and storage requirements.
